Privacy Notice

This notice explains what personal data is processed when you visit ptiark.hu or contact PTIARK, why, and what rights you have under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

1. Enquiries by email

Data: your name, email address, the content of your message and the time it was sent.
Purpose: to read and reply to your enquiry and, if you wish, to prepare a possible engagement.
Legal basis: steps taken at your request before entering into a contract (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)); for general enquiries, the legitimate interest in answering messages received (Art. 6(1)(f)).
Retention: up to 12 months after the last exchange, unless the enquiry leads to a contract. In that case the correspondence is kept for as long as the contract and the related legal (for example accounting) obligations require.
Recipients: messages are stored in the mailbox of the email provider listed in the imprint.

Please do not send passwords, financial account details or other sensitive information by email.

2. Technical data when you visit the website

Data: IP address, date and time of the request, requested page, browser and device information (user agent) and the referring page, recorded in the web server logs.
Purpose: to deliver the website, keep it secure and investigate errors or abuse.
Legal basis: legitimate interest in operating a secure website (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)).
Retention: server logs are deleted automatically after 14 days.

3. Cloudflare

The domain ptiark.hu uses Cloudflare, Inc. for DNS and network services. Cloudflare may process connection data (such as IP addresses) as a processor in order to deliver and protect the website, and may process it outside the European Economic Area. Cloudflare participates in the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework.

4. Cookies, analytics and third-party content

This website does not use analytics or tracking tools. It sets a single cookie for visitors: pll_language, which remembers the chosen language (Hungarian or English) for up to one year. It serves a function requested by the visitor, is necessary for the website to work and contains no personal data. Fonts are served from this server, not from third parties. WordPress sets technical cookies only for logged-in administrators. No profiling or automated decision-making takes place.

5. Your rights

You have the right to request access to your personal data, its rectification or erasure, the restriction of processing and data portability, and to object to processing based on legitimate interest. Requests can be sent to [email protected] and will be answered within one month.

If you believe your data has been processed unlawfully, you may lodge a complaint with the Hungarian National Authority for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (Nemzeti Adatvédelmi és Információszabadság Hatóság, NAIH), 1055 Budapest, Falk Miksa utca 9–11., naih.hu, or bring the matter before a court.
